Why it matters

You are not buying a shape

Korean knots were tied for a reason long before they were tied for looks. A garakji means a promise. A chrysanthemum means a family that flourishes. A dragonfly means change, and the leap after it.

Every product page here tells you which knot it uses and what that knot was meant to say — so when you give one away, you know what you are giving.
